You can now check and view SSS contributions online.  Let me tell you how.

Social Security System (SSS) is a Philippine Government Agency which oversee the social security programs of its members.  It provides Retirement, Sickness, and Death/Disability benefits for all paying employees.  Members can also apply for Personal Loans, Calamity Loans, and Educational Loans.

To qualify for the above benefits, members should have a substantial number of contributions to SSS.  As such, it’s a recommended practice to check if Employers are indeed remitting all contributions to SSS.  There are some reported incidents from the news that some Employers fail, intentionally or otherwise, to remit employees’ contributions to SSS.
